Aaliyah Daniel Haughton exploded to stardom in 1994 with the release of her first album Age Ain't Anything But an Numer. The album, launched when she was only fifteen years old it went Gold. The collaboration was heavily in the style of R. Kelly, and helped put her onto the scene. In 1996, Jermaine and Timbaland came out with Aaliyah's sophomore album One In A Million. The album contained the single If Your Girls Only Knew, the most-sold single. Aaliyah gained international fame for her R&B singing with the album. Aaliyah was a part of the legendary martial artist Jet-Li in Romeo Must Die (2000) the action and romance film. Joel Silver spotted her in an award show. In 2002 she had the opportunity to play the film vampire Queen of the Damned which was an adaptation of the Anne Rice novel. Apart from The Big Bang Theory, her notable other works include Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2017.) The actress has been featured in commercials for big brands such as international automobile manufacturer Volvo. She is a resident of Los Angeles where she continues acting as an actress.
