Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest child of the singer Dionne Warswick as well as gospel music legend Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew as a child in a household of musicians. The album was sold out of 3 million copies during its debut year in the US and then went on to achieve a worldwide sales of 25 million, earning it the very first one of six Grammys. The 1987 follow-up album Whitney featuring the hit songs The Place Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built the foundation of her popularity, however it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard (1992) that sealed her place as one of the best-selling artists ever. The movie and her role as a character was not appreciated, but the soundtrack and her rendition to Dolly's I Will Always Love You charted for several months at the top of the charts. In all, she sold over 44 million singles and albums all over the world. That same year she got married to Bobby Brown who was a ex- New Edition singer. She was the sole daughter of Bobby and Bobbi Kristina Brown together on March 23, 1993. It was about this time that her much documented usage of drugs began. By 1996 she was a daily user.

Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she is employed by CNN as a reporter, anchorwoman and political correspondent. The shows she hosts on weekends include Evans & Novak Late Edition, Inside Politics and Inside Politics. The awards and honors she has received include being named to the "The Women in Washington Power List" by Elle magazine. Bash is highly regarded by her remarkable abilities as a reporter/an anchor. Personally, she is a graduate of George Washington University is a loving mother to her sole son. She has been married twice and is currently a single.
