Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston (born 9 August 1993 in Newark New Jersey) is the child of gospel superstar Cissy Houston. Whitney's mother and her began singing professionally in the church of New Hope Baptist, Newark in the year Whitney was just 15 years old. They performed backing vocals for Chaka Kans' 1978 hit Im Every Woman. In 1981, she briefly worked as a fashion model, and was featured on the Seventeen cover. She also provided the backing vocals for Jermaine and Lou Rawls. In 1983 she was a part of the New York City funk-rock band Material hired her as the band's main vocalist. The band's quality is what attracted her to the major label Arista. Whitney Houston was her debut album. Whitney Houston was released in 1985 and became the biggest-selling album by a debut artist. The album contained several hit songs including How Will I know You Give Good Love Save All My Love For you and The greatest love of all. It was instrumental in her achieving seven US chart-topping singles in a row. It was the debut US year, the album was had sold more than 3 million copies. After that, it was to be bought by over more than 25 million worldwide which earned her her first Grammy. The Whitney album released in 1987 which featured the songs I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Where Do Broken Hearts Get to and continued to be a huge success. However, it was The Bodyguard of 1992 that made her one of the biggest-selling performers in the history of music. While the movie and the actor's performance weren't much praised, her soundtrack album with her version of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was her top-selling single for many months. It sold more than 44 million copies across the globe. The same year, she was married to Bobby Brown who was a former New Edition singer. She was the sole daughter of Bobby and Bobbi Kristina Brown. They were married on March 23, 1993. Around this time, her drug abuse was documented, and she started using it daily by 1996.

Dana Bash (also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz) is a CNN anchorperson, reporter and political reporter. Also, she's produced a few of CNN's shows on weekends, including Evans & Novak Late Edition'and Inside Politics. In the past, she worked for NBC, CBS and other famous channels.
